Not all trumpets are created equally. They come in all shapes and sizes to meet your needs as a trumpet player.

Bb Trumpet

B♭ TRUMPETS

B♭ trumpets are probably the most commonly used trumpet world-wide. Known for it's versatility, the B♭ trumpet is the most widely used horn for both students and professionals, alike.
Many trumpet makers offer both student and professional model horns.

C Trumpet

C TRUMPETS

C Trumpets are often used in classical ensembles, such as symphony orchestras but are often used for solo classical performances. In the US, many players prefer to use large bore C trumpets as it allows the player to play with a large sound while sitting in the back of a concert hall.

Flugelhorn

FLUGELHORNS

Flugelhorns are considered “doubling” instruments since they are often used for specific pieces or sections of music. They are typically built in the key of B♭ and can be used in almost every style of music ranging from jazz to classical.

Piccolo Trumpet

PICCOLO TRUMPETS

Piccolo trumpets can be found in a number of musical settings, but are frequently used in classical settings. The most obvious characteristic is that a piccolo trumpet is roughly half the size of a B♭ trumpet. Piccolo trumpets are often found in the key of B♭ or A.
